The Venice Biennale project seeks to capture the essence of the human race by gathering architects, artists, and poets.
It emphasises the importance of decolonisation and decarbonisation as crucial steps towards growth and
evolution.
The project I am submitting ‘Ask Leo’, in collaboration with the Venetian onlus MARVE, sheds light on the impact of climate change on Venice through its effects on rising sea levels.
The project uses high-tech methods and Platonic symbols to represent the connection between the land and water, and to raise awareness about the urgency of taking action on climate change.
The ultimate goal of these projects is to inspire a chain reaction of unity, innovation, and compassion in humanity, and to showcase the power of paying homage to one’s ancestry.
The Venice Biennale serves as a platform to not only highlight these themes, but also to celebrate the city’s reputation as the “City of Innovation ideology.”
By showcasing these works, the Venice Biennale hopes to inspire a brighter future for humanity.
